Ryan W. Griffin joined Griffin & Associates, P.A. as an Associate Attorney in 2016. Ryan is a Hillsborough County native and was born and raised in Brandon, Florida. He attended Brandon Academy, Tampa Preparatory School and The University of Tampa and is no stranger to the local sports scene. Ryan was a Five-Time State Champion throughout his youth soccer career and was a Dean’s List student throughout his life as well. He was twice named Florida Player of the Year and was also the Tampa Tribune and St. Pete Times Player of the Year. He helped his college teams reach the NCAA Final 4, NCAA Elite 8, three NCAA tournaments, and a SSC Conference Championship. He is the only men’s UT soccer player ever to be honored as a First-Team Academic All-American. Ryan graduated Magna Cum Laude from UT with a degree in Government & World Affairs and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Ryan also played for the Portland Phoenix and Orlando City Soccer Club U23s of the USL PDL prior to attending law school.
Ryan attended Florida State University College of Law where he graduated Cum Laude and coached youth soccer for ASG soccer club in Tallahassee. He was inducted into the well renowned Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society and was awarded Dean’s List three times during law school. He also gained invaluable experience working with the FSU Public Interest Law Center, Children’s Advocacy Clinic, advocating for underprivileged children in the Tallahassee area. He also worked as a law clerk for the Law Offices of Robert A. Morris and Zelman Law, focusing in the areas of criminal defense, family law, and personal injury. He has developed a winning mentality throughout his life and carries the same passion and desire to help clients obtain favorable outcomes. Ryan enjoys all sports and is a passionate FSU football fan.
